Each year the Pantone Colour Institute announces a Colour of the Year. This year the colour is Living Coral, an orange-pink tropically inspired colour symbolising our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits. The Living Coral colour encourages light-hearted activity and provides a source of emotional nourishment. I have taken a look through my catalogue of paintings and it is Mrs Sam McGredy which I believe comes closest to the Living Coral colour. A Hybrid Tea rose introduced in 1929 it has a fairly strong tea fragrance and attractive glossy bronze-green foliage. This painting is ready to hang on a 92x77cm stretched canvas. It is $600AUD and as with all my paintings includes FREE SHIPPING.
