Pink is the oldest of rose colours and the earliest depictions of roses in art were pink.  Even when we think of the colour rose, a pink hue comes to mind. Pink roses have a long history in floriography, or the language of flowers popular in Victorian times and different shades of pink had different meanings.  A light pink rose was used to express sympathy or condolences. It could also mean admiration, poise, grace and joy.  A medium pink rose was an indicator of happiness and admiration.  A dark pink rose could be used as a thank you  whilst pink rosebuds could represent an innocent and happy heart.

All of these pink rose paintings are available for purchase, ready to hang and are can be delivered free of charge.
