What does it take to grow a garden of prize winning roses?

Bill and Margaret Redford from Corowa have the recipe for success.

Some space, sunshine, horse manure, flightless ducks, plenty of imagination, hard work and a love of roses.

Please enjoy these photos I took on my recent visit.  Take a look at the opening bud of the greenish-yellow St Patrick Rose, the creamy apricot perfection of the Marilyn Monroe rose, and the simple pink and white flecked bloom of Soaring Spirits – a 9-11 memorial rose.

Thank you Bill and Margaret for sharing your little piece of Paradise with me.
