This rose with swirling tones of Marsala, Claret, Burgundy, Shiraz and even pale pink Moscato is right on trend to complement Pantone colour of 2015, Marsala.

Pantone, began as a commercial printing company in the 1950’s and devised a standardised colour reproduction system where different manufacturers in different locations can all refer to the Pantone system to make sure colours match without direct contact or sending samples.

Each year Pantone declares a particular colour “colour of the year”.  The colour is chosen to reflect the spirit of the times and can be seen in fashion, home decor and other trends.

This painting is 30 inches in diameter acrylic on canvas and is one of the paintings which may be included in my collection showing at Agora Gallery 530 West 25th Street New York from June 12 – July 2, 2015.
